I am going to try this role on for a few weeks, and see how it fits. I was reading some of the information on the Coalition of Child Care Advocates of BC website last week, and found this.
I am going to try and get a spot on the agenda at the next Oak Bay Council meeting, Novemeber 28th, and see if they will go for it. I think I’ll present them with the story I wrote not that long ago here about all these desperate parents needing child care, tell them what our MP, Denise Savoie is doing, and how they can support her. It won’t be that difficult, especially because someone else has done all the research. I just have to present it in a convincing way!
